Friendship House Child Day Care Center is  a Keystone STARS 1 quality rated facility licensed by the Department of Public Welfare and accredited by the Department of Education for our full-day Kindergarten.  Our teachers are CDA certified or degreed with all having current certification in First Aid and Infant/Child CPR  We are open 6:30 AM to 5:45 PM year-round for your convenience.  We offer a five day a week, Monday through Friday program AND part-time (2 or 3 day) programs.  We serve a morning and afternoon snack at no charge to you.  We provide a balance of structured and unstructured activities based on weekly theme units.  Our activities include arts and crafts, music, Bible stories, science, dramatic play, cooking, language development, social interaction, pre-reading skills, fine and gross motor skills and a variety of children's games.  We have two (2) large outdoor play areas to accommodate daily activities that enhance large motor development.


ENROLLMENT:
Infants (6 weeks - 12 months) 
Young Toddlers (13 months - 24 months)
Older Toddlers (25 months - 36 months) 
Preschool (3 years - 4years)
Pre-K (4 years - 5 years)
Accredited full-day Kindergarten (5 years by September 15th)
Before and/or  After School Care (6 years - 12 years) to local school district with busing to/from A.M. Kulp Elementary School.


MISSION:

Friendship House Child Day Care Center is a non-profit organization established as an outreach ministry of the Church of the Brethren.  The purpose of the program is to provide nurture and guidance to every child in the program; and encourage your child to learn and grow emotionally, socially, spiritually, and academically.  It is our desire to create a wholesome Christian atmosphere for your child while he/she is away from home.

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE is actively involved with the STARS Program.

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE accepts CCIS and all subsidized programs with proper verification.
